Opening demonstration

fom the Kibera slum to Uhuru park

The WSF2007 was opened with a big demonstration from Kibera, Nairobi´s enormous slum to the Uhuru (freedom) Park. Our group joined the demo with the pregnant teenager mounted on a wheelbarrow.
